The Bethel University men's basketball team extended their season Wednesday night when defeating Concordia College 67-62 in the first round of the MIAC Playoffs. The Royals now advance to the semifinal round on Friday, where they will play the No. 1-seeded Tommies for a berth in the conference title game. Royals Advance to MIAC Semifinal with Road Win Over Concordia
Bethel University's men's basketball team met Concordia College in the opening round of the MIAC Playoffs for the second year in a row and for the second consecutive season it was the Royals (18-8, 12-8 MIAC) that were victorious over the Cobbers (16-10, 13-7 MIAC).
With Wednesday night's 67-62 victory, Bethel now advances to the MIAC semifinals for the third consecutive year and fourth time in the past five seasons. As a reward for their first win at Moorhead since 2012,

Senior Night Victory Punches Bethel's Ticket to MIAC Playoffs
The Bethel University men's basketball team picked up a significant win over Carleton College Wednesday night thanks to a 65-60 result in the Robertson Center Gym. The Royals (16-8, 11-8 MIAC) and Knights (13-11, 10-9 MIAC) had matching records going into tonight's contest, but BU's victory created space between the two squads and sealed a playoff spot for Bethel heading into Saturday's regular season finale at Hamline.

Wojta Nets 1,000th in 88-70 Win over St. Mary's
Brycen Wojta became the 26th men's basketball player in the history of Bethel University to score 1,000 points, as he netted the milestone bucket during Wednesday's 88-70 victory over Saint Mary's University. The Royals (15-7, 10-7 MIAC) built a commanding 47-25 lead over the Cardinals (8-14, 6-11 MIAC) at the half before closing out the game with an 18-point margin.
